An obvious reference to the first Schultz Peanuts strip of infamy! Most amusing is the artist’s previous evocation of the ‘How I hate him’ strip at his previous ‘That Daniel’ endeavor! There it was the artist himself in the Charle Brown/Rienne Etout role! At first it might appear that the artist is only referencing comics past, or thinks that injecting himself and/or his own creation into the pop medium will skyrocket him to success! There lurks something in the metaverse however. What do a white bread lad from the American midwest, a stuffy French weasel and an Asian-Canadian artist have in common? Is the artist commenting on the disposability of the ethnicity in the comics medium? Boggle!
